about me.

Tiana Perez is hardworking and extremely passionate about working in the entertainment industry. She learned through her immigrant family values that discipline and hard work equate to success and a plethora of opportunities. Recognizing that her passion for this industry would require intensive flexibility and networking, she began her journey of working in entertainment as a high school freshman. While maintaining a part-time job and multiple internships, she acquired three Associate Degrees by the end of her high school career. She then fast-tracked her college career by graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Cal Poly Pomona in just two years. Ambitious about her next steps, she reached out to Group Effort Initiative and was eventually referred to the program. She now currently works as an Assistant in Film at ID-PR.

In addition to working full time, she is also a first-generation Mexican and Filipino Graduate student attending the University of Southern California for her Master of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising. She thanks her family for all of their support while pursuing her dream of working in entertainment. She is extremely grateful for GEI’s advice, guidance, and opportunities. With her experiences in the industry, she aims to be a catalyst supporting and advocating for fellow minorities in entertainment.
